I know, these images are boring, but for me, they were necessary to understand how light plays against a simple all white setting.
Everything here is basically white, except the fragrance's silver cap and some blue hues on the bottle. There's not much color to capture here, so I wanted to try overexposing and underexposing the images, and I have to confess that a couple of shots aren't that bad.
Nothing extraordinary or unique here, but when I think that 12 months ago I didn't know what a real camera was, I can say I made some nice improvements, and I'm slowly starting to understand what's my aesthetic, which is all about the beautiful bottles that are part of my collection. I love to capture the details, their unique shapes and how lights and shadows play with the liquid inside those bottles, creating every time unique patterns and hues.
I hope you enjoy them ✌🏻

About the perfume:
Yves Saint Laurent's L'Homme Cologne Bleue reimagines the classic men's cologne with a fresh and more contemporary twist. Released in 2018, this fragrance is part of the successful L'Homme line, celebrated for its elegant yet approachable compositions. Here’s a closer look at what makes this fragrance shine:
The bottle retains the signature design of the L'Homme family, featuring a sleek, hexagonal metallic cap and minimalist lines. Its blue gradient glass beautifully reflects the fragrance's aquatic and invigorating essence, evoking images of tranquil waters and breezy summer skies.
The opening is a vibrant burst of citrus, featuring grapefruit, bergamot, and blood orange. These notes create a refreshing and energetic introduction, perfect for warm weather. A subtle hint of black pepper adds a spicy edge, elevating the brightness with an intriguing contrast.
As it evolves, the fragrance transitions into an aromatic heart of marine accords, lavender, and geranium. The marine notes evoke the crispness of ocean air, while lavender adds a clean, slightly herbal touch. Geranium lends a fresh, green nuance that harmonizes the composition beautifully. Then the dry-down reveals a grounded base of cedarwood and patchouli. These earthy and woody notes provide a smooth, understated finish, balancing the zesty and aquatic opening with a refined warmth, while a hint of sandalwood adds to the whole composition a touch of creaminess.
While the scent profile is undeniably appealing, its performance is quite moderate. On the skin, L'Homme Cologne Bleue lasts around 4–6 hours, making it better suited for daytime or casual wear. The projection is subtle, creating a light sillage ideal for close-contact settings such as the office or casual gatherings.
This fragrance could be considered the epitome of summer in a bottle. Its breezy, aquatic character pairs perfectly with warm weather, casual outings, or laid-back weekends. However, it might lack the depth needed for formal evenings or colder seasons.
L'Homme Cologne Bleue is designed for men who appreciate fresh, clean scents with a touch of elegance. It’s especially suited for those who prefer easy-to-wear fragrances that blend seamlessly into their daily routine. While predominantly masculine, its crisp, unisex appeal might also attract women who enjoy aquatic and citrus-forward fragrances.
L'Homme Cologne Bleue offers a modern take on aquatic colognes, blending freshness with subtle sophistication. Although its longevity and projection may not be its strongest suits, its well-crafted composition and versatile nature make it an excellent choice for casual summer days. It’s a fragrance that complements rather than overwhelms, enhancing the wearer’s natural charisma.
Whether you're lounging by the pool or strolling through the city on a sunny day, L'Homme Cologne Bleue brings a refreshing breeze to your fragrance wardrobe. Perfect for those who value understated charm and effortless style.
