Project #5: Classique Essence de Parfum

I know that I'm the worst amateur photographer out there, but I also have to admit that I have fun taking pictures of my perfume bottles.

I'm constantly trying to find new corners in my home where I can take pictures and this time I chose a North facing bedroom. Not the best place in terms of light, but thank God, with a couple of artificial lights and lots of prayers, I was able to take some decent shots.

In the beginning I wasn't quite sure about the initial choice of the background, but I have to admit that the final result is pretty nice. Quite monochromatic, but those glitter accents look lovely and you know how much I love (and need) some glitter in my boring and dull life.

Once again I tried to play with lights and shadows, mainly for two reasons: 1. I like this aesthetic 2. I'm still learning the basics of this art form, that maybe in 20 years I'll be able to master.

About the perfume:

While it maintains some parts of Classique’s DNA, this Essence de Parfum feels richer and deeper, as suggested by the rich ambery color of the jus.

Ideal for evening wear or special occasions, Essence de Parfum has impressive sillage and longevity, with the scent lingering on the skin for hours, without being overpowering, but maintaining a bold and sophisticated allure, without forgetting a touch of magnetic irreverent sensuality, in pure Gaultier’s style.
