Project #6: Atkinsons Miniatures

An Instagram friend of mine told me a while ago that taking pictures of miniature was fun, and I have to say that she was absolutely right!

Unfortunately I do not have so many miniatures in my collection, but I certainly had fun shooting the miniatures of the latest launches of British brand Atkinsons.

These little golden bottles look really cute, and once again, lights and shadows were my best friends.

I know, I'm probably becoming boring, but I'm super fascinated with this game of light and darkness, but considering that I'm still pretty new into this world, I have so much to learn and the road will be very long, and hopefully filled with surprises.

I hope to become a better photographer and I also hope that the quality of my shots will improve, otherwise, you're allowed to insult me, if in the next 12 months my images will look dreadful.

About the perfumes:

Shine Despite Everything is part of Atkinson’s Reserve Collection and is an exquisite homage to the legendary Sarah Bernhardt, an iconic actress of the 19th century, also called ‘La Divina’.

The other miniature is a perfumed tribute to the myths, mystery and grandeur of Ancient Egypt, particularly the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s almost untouched tomb.

The opening of the perfume is in fact a symphony of bold spices, where saffron pairs with cardamom and coriander, in order to create a radiant and bold introduction, while smoky incense waves through these notes, evoking the mysterious atmosphere of Egyptian sacred temples.
